Get creative and help bring fall spirit to downtown Batesburg during the 2nd Annual Scarecrow Contest, hosted by Arts on the Ridge, BL. Throughout September 2026, individuals, families, businesses, and community groups are invited to build and display their own scarecrows as part of this fun, all-ages celebration of creativity, community, and local charm.
Whether you want to enter a scarecrow, stroll through downtown to see the displays, or simply support the community, this contest is a great way to celebrate the season and support local Batesburg. Winners will be announced at the Fall for the Arts Festival on October 4, 2026.
